• Custom Saddles Stolen From Oakdale Shop

    OAKDALE (CBS13) – A search is on for whoever stole a bunch of custom saddles from an Oakdale shop over the weekend.
    According to the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office, the Diamond K Saddlery along N. Yosemite Avenue was broken into Sunday morning.

    DESOLATION WILDERNESS (CBS13) – It took a team of rescuers to get an injured St. Bernard mix out of the Desolation Wilderness the other day.
    The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office says the 120-pound dog, named “Charlie,” and his owner were out hiking in the forest near South Lake Tahoe when the big pup was injured.

  • District: Student’s Threat Against Inderkum High Not Credible, Will Be Disciplined

    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – School officials say an Inderkum High School student will be disciplined after an alleged threat spread across social media on Monday.
    The Natomas Unified School District says the student allegedly told several classmates that he was planning to commit violence at the campus.
    Sacramento police were quickly notified. After a threat assessment, police investigators determined the threat to be not credible.

    NATOMAS (CBS 13) — Two players involved in an altercation with a referee have been suspended for 99 games by a youth soccer league.
    A Natomas Youth Soccer League team was expelled, and the league says the coach has also been removed.

    RANCHO CORDOVA (CBS13) – An Elk Grove man was arrested for allegedly leading police on a chase in a stolen Honda Civic.
