    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Roseville woman’s dreams have taken flight.
    Tracy Sharp lives with Down syndrome. She always wanted to be a flight attendant, and on Friday she became one.
    Southwest Airlines allowed Sharp to serve as an assistant flight attendant on a flight from Sacramento to Seattle. Southwest veteran flight attendant Vicki Heath helped make it all possible after she befriended Sharp on a recent trip.

    MODESTO (CBS13) — A survey covering the top spots for vehicle theft in the nation is missing a familiar face.
    Modesto has ranked No. 1 seven times since 2004, most recently in 2015, when it comes to most vehicle thefts per capita.

  • Pediatricians Drop Age Limit For Rear-Facing Car Seats

    (CNN) – Children should ride in rear-facing car seats until they reach the height or weight limit for the seat, according to updated recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
    This changes the academy’s previous guidance, which said children should ride in rear-facing seats until at least age 2. The new recommendation eliminates the age-specific milestone to turn a child’s car seat around.
