    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – It’s a girl! A red panda cub was born on Monday at the Sacramento Zoo.
    The baby girl was born to 7-year-old Pili and 9-year-old Takeo and is one of only about 200 red pandas in zoos across North America.

    WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Johnny Cueto will get another rehab start with the Sacramento River Cats on Friday, June 29.
    The All-Star pitcher returned to the mound at Raley Field on Saturday, June 23. He pitched 3.2 innings for the River Cats and struck out four. He let up one hit.

    STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police have arrested a second man in connection with the shooting death of a man at a Stockton Motel 6 in May.
    Police arrested 21-year-old Fernando Herrera in the 600 block of N. Sutter Street for the May 29 shooting of an unidentified 26-year-old victim at the hotel in the 800 block of Navy Drive, according to a statement from Stockton police.

    VALLEY SPRINGS (CBS13) – A Valley Springs teen has once again been found guilty of killing his little sister.
    Earlier this year, a judge overturned the conviction of Isiah Fowler, who was 12 years old in 2013 when his 8-year-old sister, Leila Fowler, was found dead inside their home.
