    STOCKTON (CBS13) – Authorities in Stockton are asking for help in finding a girl who’s been missing since last week.
    Stockton police say 16-year-old Andrea Barrios left her southwest Stockton home last Friday and boarded the ACE Train to Livermore. After arriving in Livermore around 7:45 a.m. that day, she has not been seen since.

    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A suspected porch pirate drove onto a Sacramento homeowner’s driveway and stole two packages.
    The Ring doorbell recorded the incident and the video was turned over to Sacramento police.
    The video shows the woman drove up in a red pickup truck, get out, steal two packages, then casually walk back to the truck and drive away.

  • Bicyclist Killed In Hit-And-Run In South Lake Tahoe

    SOUTH LAKE TAHOE (CBS13) – Police are investigating after a bicycle rider was killed in a hit-and-run early Wednesday morning.
    The scene was along Highway 50, west of the Upper Truckee River.
    California Highway Patrol’s South Lake Tahoe division says officers responded to the scene around 5:30 a.m. and found an unresponsive man in the roadway. A damaged bicycle was also found nearby.
    The man was soon pronounced dead.
    It appears a vehicle traveling eastbound on Highway 50 hit the man.

    STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police in Stockton are looking for two men who robbed an ice cream vendor.

  • Man Drowns In South Yuba River In Nevada County

    NORTH SAN JUAN (CBS13) – Authorities say a man drowned after being stuck between rocks in the South Yuba River.
    Nevada County deputies say it happened Tuesday evening near the Highway 49 overcrossing.
    Authorities brought a helicopter to hoist the victim out of the river and tried performing CPR, but he died after they pulled him out.

  • Snow Leopard Cub At Sacramento Zoo Undergoing Physical Therapy

    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The snow leopard cub born at the Sacramento Zoo is undergoing physical therapy to help him with several birth defects.
    The cub, who was a twin, has swimmers syndrome in his rear legs, meaning his legs are “noticeably splayed,” according to a new post on the zoo’s blog. He also has eyelid birth defects and may need surgery in the future.
