    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Local hospitals are taking steps to reduce flu risk for both patients and visitors. Doctors have seen a significant increase in flu across the region.
    With quality and patient safety as its top priority, and in response to a significant increase in flu across the region, Catholic Health is taking precautions to reduce the spread of the influenza virus by temporarily limiting visitors at its hospitals and long term care facilities to individuals age 14 and older.

  • Bills fans brave bitter cold to send team off to Jacksonville

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — It wasn’t exactly a warm goodbye, but Bills fans braved the bitter cold Saturday to send the team off to Jacksonville. When the team landed in Florida, they were welcomed by even more Bills fans.
    Bundled up with blankets and donning their Bills blue, it doesn’t matter how cold it is — Bills fans say they couldn’t miss the chance to say goodbye to the team that ended the 17-year playoff drought.
    About a dozen fans braved below zero wind chills
