  ELK GROVE (CBS13) – A center for teens was targeted by a man who appeared to be dressed as a security guard. Surveillance video captured the man lurking around the building and eventually stealing the security camera at Teen Center USA.

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Another threat of a teenage takeover has security and customers on high alert after several fights at Arden Fair Mall.
  “I was shocked because I thought all that had passed,” said Sandra Woods while visiting the mall.
  Two brawls in three days sent workers and shoppers running, including a toddler breaking his leg just trying to get away.

  MODESTO, Calif. (AP/CBS13) – Funeral services will be held in central California Saturday for Cpl. Ronil Singh, the police officer who authorities say was shot to death by a man in the country illegally.

  STOCKTON (CBS13) — Friday was the deadline for Stockton residents to sign up for the program to get free money for 18 months, and researchers say enough people signed up for the project to move forward.

  MANTECA (CBS13) — Manteca Police are looking for a missing 64-year-old man whose vehicle was abandoned in Tracy. The police department said the circumstances around his disappearance are suspicious.

• Weather Halts Weekend Shutdown Of Tower Bridge

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — This weekend’s looming storm is forcing Caltrans to cancel a scheduled closure of the Tower Bridge.
  Crews were set to close the bridge on Sunday, January 6, while a helicopter removed and replaced metal assemblies. But Caltrans say the weather advisory will make it too hazardous for the contractors to fly.
