  DAVIS (CBS13) – Police in Davis are investigating a series of daytime robberies reported over the weekend.
  Davis police say the first two incidents happened on Saturday. In the first, around 1:20 p.m. along the 1200 block of Alvarado Avenue, a suspect reportedly walked up to the victim and pulled up his shirt, revealing what looked like the handle of a knife in his waistband.

• Downtown Sacramento Breaks 1993 Record For Rainfall After Storm

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Downtown Sacramento saw record rainfall on Sunday as a strong, windy storm moved through the region.
  The storm brought an average of .5 to 1 inches of rain to the valley on Sunday, while the foothills saw about 1 to 3 inches of precipitation, according to the National Weather Service.

  NEW YORK (AP) – California’s largest power company is getting battered in midday trading on reports that it’s considering bankruptcy protection in the face of potentially crippling liability damages from a spate of wildfires.
  No cause has been determined for the source of California’s Camp Fire, but PG&E reported an outage around the time and place the fire was ignited. Another transmission line malfunctioned a short time later, possibly sparking a second fire.

• Inmate Dies In Custody At El Dorado County Jail

  PLACERVILLE (CBS13) – Authorities are investigating after an inmate at El Dorado County Jail died in custody.
  The incident happened on Friday. According to the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office, correctional officers found inmate Anthony Marino unresponsive in his cell a little after 3:30 a.m.
  Correctional officers and medics started life-saving efforts, but Marino was pronounced dead less than a half hour later.
