    SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) – Two men and a teenager have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a 3-year-old girl in Sacramento County.
    On September 11, 2018 at 9:33 p.m. authorities received the report of a child shot in the 7400 block of Della Circle. When first responders arrived, they found Azalya Anderson, 3. She had been shot.
    She died four days later.

    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Sacramento’s Regional Transit District is trying something new in an effort to get more passengers.
    Last year, the agency suffered a multimillion-dollar loss in fare revenue due to reduced ridership.
    Now RT is considering offering free parking – which currently costs a dollar a day – at its park-pay-and-ride lots.

    ROSEVILLE (CBS13) – A person has been arrested after they apparently tried to take off with an ATM early Thursday morning.
    The scene is at the First Citizens Bank on Douglas Boulevard.
    Roseville police say officers responded to the scene a little after 3:30 a.m. to investigate an alarm activation. Officers got there in time to find the suspect still there.

  • Armed Good Samaritan Stops Shoplifters Who Threatened Store Security Guard

    LOOMIS (CBS13) — The Placer County Sheriff’s Office is calling a man with a gun a Good Samaritan after he stopped two shoplifters at a Raley’s in Loomis.

  • CHP: Driver Of Pickup Dies After Crashing Into Bus Head-On

    PLACERVILLE (CBS13) — The driver of a pickup truck died in a fatal crash with a bus Wednesday afternoon in El Dorado County, CHP said.
    CHP Placerville said the incident happened at approximately 3 p.m. Wednesday. Officers received a call about a collision on Pony Express Trail near Gilmore Road.

    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — An arrest has been made in a homicide case from November on the 2900 block of Marconi Avenue, the Sacramento Sheriff’s Department said.
    On Nov. 21, sheriff’s deputies responded to Marconi Avenue at the request of the Sacramento Metro Fire Department.

    VACAVILLE (CBS13) — The Solano County Sheriff’s office’s first report of the year is for a stolen Dune Buggy from Judy’s Wild Wrangler in Vacaville.
    The office said deputy took the report on Tuesday for the stolen vehicle.
