    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Officials have tranquilized a mountain lion that wandered into a Natomas neighborhood late Sunday morning.
    The mountain lion was captured on a Bessemer Way resident’s Ring video camera walking up to the home. Sacramento police later cornered the animal near Bessemer Merrivale ways.

    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Police are asking for help in identifying a suspect in a child kidnapping incident in Sacramento.
    It happened Thursday morning on 2700 block of River Plaza Drive.
    A boy says a man got out of a red van, approached him, grabbed him, and tried to pull him into the vehicle.
    The victim was able to run away from the suspect and was not injured.

    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Sacramento city officials are proposing Cal Expo designate a portion of its parking lot as a potential site for a 100-bed tent homeless shelter.

    According to the Sacramento Bee, the state has allowed shelters on some state land, but Cal Expo may be a bridge too far.

    DIAMOND SPRINGS (CBS13) — Police arrested 73-year-old William Stewart of Diamond Springs for child predator charges after an online sting.
    They say Stewart contacted an undercover deputy on Facebook who was pretending to be a 16-year-old girl. They say William sent the deputy explicit messages and photos.

    RANCHO CORDOVA (CBS13) — One man is clinging to life after being shot early Saturday morning in Rancho Cordova.
    A second man who was also shot is expected to recover.
    Police say it happened near the 10000 block of El Mercado Drive.
