  PARADISE (CBS13) – Paradise could lose its funding for its FEMA-funded clean-up reimbursement after town leaders allowed residents to move back into areas where debris had not yet been removed.
  In November 2018, the Camp Fire destroyed thousands of homes and businesses and displaced 26,000 residents. Debris left from the disaster posed a public health and safety emergency, so FEMA provided reimbursement funds so residents could move back and start over.

• Driver Accused Of Intentionally Hitting 4 People Near Modesto Park

  MODESTO (CBS13) — Police have identified the man accused of hitting several people with his vehicle in Modesto.
  Twenty-nine-year old Israel Bazan of Modesto was allegedly driving under the influence when he went to the parking lot of Beardbrook Park at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday and drove his car into three people. He hit a fourth person on the road with his side mirror, according to Modesto Police Department spokesperson Sharon Bear.

  STOCKTON (CBS13) – A Stockton school was targeted by thieves who reportedly stole 32 laptops and a projector from a classroom.
  Police have issued photos of the suspects who they believe were behind the costly heist.
