  MODESTO (CBS13) – An operation to try and stem human trafficking in Stanislaus County has led to dozens of arrests of over the past few days.
  The sting, dubbed “Operation Rebuild and Reclaim for Stanislaus County,” took place over three days – Jan. 24-26.

  Back on Dec. 23, Chelsea Lund and her 8-year-old son Kaiden were out on a drive along Pettinger Road in the Burson area of Calaveras County when their car was hit head-on by a pickup truck.

  SOUTH LAKE TAHOE (CBS13) – Investigators are releasing more information on the case of a man suspected of sexually assaulting multiple minors at a South Lake Tahoe store.

• Early Morning House Fire In Modesto Displaces 3 People

  MODESTO (CBS13) – Three people were displaced after a house fire in Modesto early Tuesday morning.
  The scene was on East Coolidge Avenue, near Ila Way.

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A bipartisan bill aimed at cracking down on animal abusers has been introduced to Congress and would make animal cruelty a felony nationwide. It would also close a loophole in federal law that bans videos showing animal cruelty.
