    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Police are investigating a fatal shooting from early Saturday morning that left one man dead.
    Sacramento Sheriff Shaun Hampton said officers responded to reports of a male shot at the Eleven Hundred Apartment Complex in Sacramento. Police located a 27-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound on the scene and were unable to find a pulse.
    According to police, the victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

    RANCHO CORDOVA (CBS13) — A vehicle pursuit ended in flames Saturday morning at a Rancho Cordova apartment complex.
    According to the Sacramento Sheriffs, an officer attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation just after 10 a.m. Saturday. Officers said the vehicle failed to stop, and the sheriffs were in pursuit for a short time.

    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Neither snow nor rain nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of thier appointed rounds.

    Rio Vista Fire Chief Jeff Armstrong said the two were suspended without pay.
