    MODESTO (CBS13) – Police are looking for the driver who hit a Modesto police patrol car then took off running.
    The incident happened early Monday morning near Standiford Avenue and Carver Road.
    Modesto police say an officer was driving through the intersection when a man in a Hyundai Accent ran a red light – broadsiding the officer.

    WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The Nelly and Fat Joe concert scheduled for next month at Raley Field was postponed until October.
    The announcement cited scheduling conflicts as the reason for rescheduling.
    The original show was supposed to happen Saturday, September 15th.
    The River Cats season finishes September 3rd and the team’s playoff chances are slim. The River Cats are currently in last place in the Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern division with a 45-68 record.

    EL DORADO HILLS (CBS13) – A woman has been charged with dozens of crimes involving embezzlement from Oak Ridge High School’s music boosters, authorities say.
    According to the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office, Gloria Rodrigues had been service as the treasurer for Oak Ridge’s Music Boosters.

    VACAVILLE (CBS13) – Police say a man stole some security cameras from a Vacaville chiropractor office, but not before getting a clear picture of him.
    Vacaville police say, back on Thursday, a man went up the office during the night and grabbed four Ring security cameras.
    The man tried to hide his face by using a motorcycle helmet, but it didn’t cover everything – especially a distinctive tattoo on his arm, which was captured clearly on camera.

  • WATCH: CHP Rescues Two Hikers From Pyramid Peak

    EL DORADO COUNTY (CBS13) — Two hikers became lost while hiking on Pyramid Peak in El Dorado County, according to CHP Valley Air Division Operations.
    As nightfall was quickly approaching, El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office called a CHP H-24 helicopter which responded and assisted with the search.
    According to CHP, the H-24 located the hikers after a long search, but due to the terrain, the helicopter could not land.
