    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The Sacramento Kings have made a Make-A-Wish kid an honorary member of their dance team.
    Yani, a 14-year-old Sacramento resident, has been a competitive dancer for most of her life. However, in October of last year, she suddenly fell ill with high blood pressure and kidney failure.

  • 5 Drivers Suspected Of Racing On I-80 Have Cars Impounded

    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – California Highway Patrol says they’ve impounded five cars suspected to have been racing on Interstate 80 earlier this week.
    The incident happened just after midnight on July 9.

  • Police: Man, 34, Hit And Killed By Car At Stockton Park

    STOCKTON (CBS13) – Authorities are investigating after a man was hit and killed by a car inside a Stockton park Tuesday night.
    The scene was at Oak Park along E. Alpine Avenue.
    Stockton police say officers responded to the scene around 8:30 a.m. to investigate a report of a person being hit by a vehicle. A 34-year-old man who had been hit by a car was found; he was soon pronounced dead at the scene by medics.

    CLIPPER GAP (CBS13) – The search is on for a doe who has a glass peanut butter jar stuck on the lower part of her jaw.
    Sandra Fogler and her neighbor spotted the doe near a watering site in Clipper Gap- near Auburn on Monday. They noticed the jar has the bottom cut out and believe it was set out by a hunter as bait and then left behind.
