• Driver Killed In Stockton Crash That Ejected Him From Vehicle

  STOCKTON (CBS13) — A man has died after police say he crashed into another vehicle while he was coming off of Interstate 5 on Friday.
  Investigators say the man was driving at a high rate of speed coming off of the offramp at Downing Avenue and hit another vehicle in the intersection. The impact sent his car rolling up on the onramp and on the other side of the intersection.
  The man was ejected from his vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

  SAN FRANCISCO (AP) – A federal appeals court rejected a lawsuit Friday that accused Nevada officials and the state psychiatric hospital in Las Vegas of violating patients’ civil rights by giving them bus tickets and dumping them in other states.

  FAIRFIELD (CBS13) – Detectives have arrested a man suspected of sexually assaulting young girls in Solano County.
  Fairfield police say they began investigating after getting a report on Sunday about a man who allegedly grabbed the behind of a 10-year-old girl inside a Party City store in the city.

  SONOMA COUNTY (CBS13) — A man’s body was found buried in a shallow grave on the campus of Sonoma State University on Wednesday.
  The man found on the Sonoma State campus has been identified as Kirk Kimberly, 18 of Cotati, and investigators are trying to figure out who is responsible for his death.

• Celebrity Chef Michael Chiarello Arrested In Napa County For DUI, Drugs

  YOUNTVILLE, Calif. (AP) – Celebrity chef Michael Chiarello has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and drug possession in Napa County.
  The California Highway Patrol says Chiarello was arrested after his Porsche Boxster was stopped around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday on Silverado Trail. The area is a couple of miles from Yountville, where Chiarello has a restaurant, Bottega.
