    Man, 26, Fatally Shot In Rio Linda
    RIO LINDA (CBS13) – Detectives are investigating a homicide in Rio Linda that happened Sunday night.
    A man, now identified as 26-year-old Raymond Velasquez, was shot near Rio Linda Junior High School around 10 p.m. When deputies got to the scene, someone had already driven Velasquez to the hospital.
    Velasquez later died.
    Witnesses say they heard several gunshots and saw a vehicle speeding away.
    No information has been released about a suspect’s description or a possible motive.

    Around 3 a.m., police received a call that someone stole an ambulance parked at an ambulance bay at Sutter Memorial Hospital, according to a Sacramento Police Department statement. An officer near McGeorge School of Law heard the report and spotted the vehicle in the area of 5th Avenue and Broadway and began following it, starting what police say was a lengthy chase

    STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police are searching for three clowns accused of carjacking a man at gunpoint.
    The incident happened around 6:30 a.m. Sunday on South Aurora Street in the Seaport District.
    Police say the 42-year-old victim left his car running as he was getting ready for work.
    The man was looking in his trunk when the three suspects wearing clown masks approached him with a .45 caliber handgun and took his car.
    The vehicle is described as a black 2003 Acura TL.

    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Authorities have arrested an armed suspect who led officers and deputies on two chases.
    Richard Sharp, 52, was arrested after the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office says he stabbed another man outside a Pick-n-Pull business.
    When deputies arrived on scene, they say Sharp fled. Deputies chased sharp to a neighborhood near Power Inn Road and Elsie Avenue where he barricaded himself inside his car for almost two hours.
