  SAN FRANCISCO (AP) – California voters who want to share photos of their marked ballots in next week’s election are out of luck.
  A federal judge in San Francisco refused Wednesday to block a state law that bans ballot selfies.
  U.S. District Judge William Alsup said allowing the images so close to Election Day would create confusion among voters and poll workers.
  The American Civil Liberties Union sued Monday, seeking a court injunction preventing enforcement of the ballot-selfie ban.

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Several area cities act as hosts for next year’s Amgen Tour of California, officials announced on Wednesday.
  The 2017 men’s competition will begin in Sacramento on May 14. The women’s race will begin on May 11 in South Lake Tahoe.
  Elk Grove will get to host the third state of the women’s competition on May 13. It’s the first time the city has been chosen to host.

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – An Arkansas man accused of kidnapping his children has been caught in Sacramento.
  Aaron Young, 24, was taken into custody at a home in south Sacramento Tuesday night. He’s accused of taking his 6-year-old twin children from a family member last week.

• Cost Will End Sacramento Homeless Restroom Program, For Now

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — The Pit Stop pilot program, which provides clean restrooms for Sacramento’s homeless, will have its final flush on Dec. 31.
  The city council did not extend the six-month contract to extend the management and use of the mobile bathroom facility.

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A man was arrested after police say he tried to steal a barge from a marina at Miller Park.
  Bruce Klair, 23, was restrained by a city employee who police say saw him taking off with the barge.
  The employee tracked down barge on a separate boat, then tried stopping Klair. That’s when police say things got violent, when the employee allegedly was dunked under the water several times during the struggle.
