    K9 Bodie Dies Of Bacterial Infection
    SACRAMENTO (CBS13)- Bodie, the Sacramento police dog shot that was shot during a pursuit in 2012, has died.
    According to the Sacramento Police Department Canine Association, Bodie fell ill unexpectedly this week and was unable to stand or walk.

    A vet diagnosed him with a bacterial infection.
    He also had a tumor on the left side of his face, lowering his white blood cell count and stifling his ability to fight the infection.

    DAVIS (CBS13) – A group of protesters is gathering in Davis early Wednesday morning.
    Davis police say about 200-300 protesters are walking from the UC Davis campus to downtown.

    Voters on Tuesday approved Proposition 63, banning large-capacity ammunition magazines, requiring background checks for ammunition sales and speeding the seizure of firearms from people who are no longer allowed to own them.
    The measure passed by a margin of 63 percent to 37 percent.
