    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — With a new baby, Dean Skultety put in a water purifier in his home, “I wanted to be healthy and have healthy water to drink.”
    Months later he noticed free water test kits inside Home Depot, so he gave it a try.

    Sacramento Child Killed After Being Struck By Father’s Car Identified
    SACRAMENTO, Calif. (CBS13/AP) — Authorities say a 1-year-old girl died after her father accidentally ran her over with his car at a north Sacramento home Saturday afternoon.
    The girl was in the front yard playing with a 6-year-old sibling when her father arrived at the house and the child ran toward it as he pulled in the driveway.
    Police say the girl was taken to a hospital, where she later died.
    The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office website identified Nataly Lopez as the victim.

    Old Sacramento’s Christmas Tree Arrives
    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Old Sacramento is getting into the holiday spirit.
    Monday morning, crews started setting up the large Christmas tree on K between Front and 2nd streets.
    This year’s tree is a 60-foot-tall white fir from Burney in Shasta County.
    Crews will use a crane to secure it in a hole dug just for the tree. Then volunteers will start work on stringing up to 100,000 lights and many, many ornaments ahead of the tree lighting.It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! @oldsac
