    ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, Colo. (AP) — A 73-year-old man has died after a fall while descending a peak in Rocky Mountain National Park.
    Park spokeswoman Kyle Patterson says the body of Ken Teselle of Estes Park was recovered by helicopter on Thursday from the Chasm Lake area.

    PARKER, Colo. (CBS4)– Police in Parker are searching for the driver of a minivan who tried to lure a little girl into his vehicle.

  • A List Of The 28 Latest Announced Kmart Store Closings

    NEW YORK (AP) — Sears Holdings Inc., which operates Sears and Kmart stores, announced further store closures Thursday, saying it will shutter 28 more Kmart stores.
    The retailer, which reported second-quarter results illustrating that its long-term turnaround struggle continues, had already closed 180 stores so far this year. It has previously announced plans to cut another 150 before the latest additions to the list.

    COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — A jury concluded a man who moved to Colorado Springs in search of a relationship with a 4-year-old son he didn’t know ended up beating the boy to death within a month of his arrival.

    DENVER (AP) — The Colorado Avalanche agreed to a two-year, entry-level deal with Alexander Kerfoot after the forward became a college free agent earlier this month.

    BOSTON (AP) — Officials at a Boston zoo say an 18-year-old giraffe has been euthanized after treatment failed to improve his declining health.
    The Masai giraffe, named Beau, had been treated for a variety of issues in previous years and was not on display at the Franklin Park Zoo this season because of his poor health.     ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK (CBS4) – A park volunteered died after falling while descending a 13,000-foot-tall mountain in Rocky Mountain National Park.
