    MEADVILLE, Pa. (WIVB) – A former administrator at Daemen College is being accused of having inappropriate contact with an 11-year-old in a Pennsylvania community south of Erie.

  • Train derails in Wyoming County

    WYOMING COUNTY (WROC) – Emergency crews are on the scene of a train derailment in Wyoming County.
    Police say the derailment happened in a wooded area and crews are working to respond. Police say the derailment happened just outside of Attica Police Department’s jurisdiction, but officers have responded..

  • Principal: Students threaten Williamsville North High School

    WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) — The principal of Williamsville North High School says three students threatened to harm the school on Wednesday morning.
    According to Gary Collichio, a student overheard a conversation on a school bus and reported it to the school.

  • Fire starts in Falconer High School basement

    FALCONER, N.Y. (WIVB) — Crews responded to a fire at Falconer High School early Thursday morning.
    The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s office says a fire alarm went off at the school around 1:30 a.m.
    A number of fire departments responded and dealt with heavy smoke inside the school once they arrived.

    ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – According to New York Senate Democrats, thousands of New Yorkers are sitting in jail simply because they do not have the money to post bail.
    Both Democrats and Governor Andrew Cuomo are introducing legislation that would aim to change that.

    ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — New York state would make it illegal for police officers to have sex with people in their custody under a proposal gaining momentum in Albany.
