US auto sales rose in June at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 16.66 million, according to Autodata.
Economists had estimated that total vehicle sales rose at a rate of 17.30 million, according to Bloomberg.
Ford was the only one among the so-called Big Three automakers that beat sales expectations in June.
Analysts debated whether this rate has peaked, following a record year 2015.
Last month, two of the Big Three in the auto industry — GM and Ford — reported sales de -

AOL’s CMO on rebuilding its reputation and why marketers need to be uncomfortable
