  STOCKTON (CBS13) — Police in Stockton say someone stole a running vehicle with a child inside Friday night.
  It happened on the 2100 block of South American Street.

  Fortunately, the car thief dropped the 5-year-old off just one house away and then drove away.

  STOCKTON (CBS13) — Stockton Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting.
  It happened Saturday afternoon in the area of Castle Oaks Drive and Marlboro Court.
  ALSO: Authorities Clean-Up After Clearing Homeless Camp Along Stockton Blvd
  Police say the officers involved in the shooting are okay.
  One suspect is currently being treated at the hospital. That person’s condition is unknown at this time.

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A man, depressed and suicidal, teeters on the edge of a highway overpass.
  “How’s it going?” an officer asks. “Do you feel like talking to us?”
  It was a high-stakes situation where caution and compassion collided for Sacramento Police. Rather than arrest the man, the officer and his partner were armed with words of support for the man in distress.

  MANTECA (CBS13) — The city of Manteca released body camera footage Friday, showing a police officer fatally shooting a man armed with a knife.

  GRASS VALLEY (CBS13) — Officials in Oregon say a Grass Valley woman was found dead inside a motel room.
  Investigators said 23-year-old Sierra Bree Clemens was found dead at a motel in Medford, Oregon.

  SAN QUENTIN, Calif. (AP) — Authorities say a man who was sent to California’s death row for killing and mutilating a 5-month-old girl has died of natural causes.
