  Stockton police announced on Tuesday that 35-year-old Saoun Pol had died.

  The incident happened just after 10 p.m. along the 9400 block of Elk Grove Boulevard.

• Man Convicted Of Sexually Assaulting Girl, 12, After Breaking Into South Sacramento Home

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A man has been convicted of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl during a south Sacramento burglary.
  The incident happened back in June 2017.
  According to the Sacramento County District Attorney’s office, the girl was home alone when Steve Vang broke in. Vang found the girl in her room and sexually assaulted her, prosecutors said.
  The girl screamed and tried to fight Vang off. He eventually ran out and she went to a neighbor to call 911.

• Investigation Underway After Garage Fire In Carmichael

  CARMICHAEL (CBS13) – Streets are back open in Carmichael after a garage went up in flames early Tuesday morning.
  It happened just after 12:30 a.m. on Garfield Avenue, near Locust Avenue.
