  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Omar, a four-year-old boy from Carmichael, had his wish granted on Monday by Make-A-Wish and the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department.
  At just six-months-old, Omar was diagnosed with the blood disorder Beta Thalassemia – a disease that requires him to go to the hospital every week or so for treatment.
  Since then, Omar and his whole family have relocated to Sacramento from Afghanistan.

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Chaos erupted Saturday night in downtown Sacramento during a concert by rap group SOB x RBE at the Ace of Spades.
  The Vallejo group was on stage performing at the nightclub in 1400 block of R Street when the fight broke out. Video shows several people fighting on the stage and then falling into the area in front of the stage. Some spectators then get involved in the brawl.

• Garbage Truck’s Load Catches Fire In Placer County

  PLACER COUNTY (CBS13) – A garbage truck’s load caught fire near Auburn Monday morning.
  The scene was near Bell Road and Interstate 80.
  Firefighters from Cal Fire’s Nevada-Yuba-Placer Unit responded to the scene a little before 10 a.m. and found a smoldering pile of trash.

• Small Fire Put Out At Freeport Boulevard Restaurant

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Firefighters are investigating after a small fire that damaged a Sacramento restaurant early Monday morning.
  Fire crews were called to the Shabu Pub on Freeport Boulevard.
  Both the burglar and fire alarms were going off.
  Firefighters say the front door had been broken into and a small fire was burning in the kitchen.
  The sprinkler system was activated, causing heavy water damage, but the business was saved.

• CHP: Woman Killed After Stalled Car She Was Pushing Rolls Back On Her

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A young woman has died after the stalled car she was pushing rolled over onto her, officers say.
  The incident happened early Monday morning on the southbound Highway 99 off-ramp to Fruitridge Road.
  California Highway Patrol says the woman’s car stalled, so she and a passenger got out to try and push the vehicle up the ramp. But the car started rolling back, rolling over the woman and killing her.
  The car ended up down an embankment.

  STOCKTON (CBS13) — A man in his 20s is dead after being shot in the chest on Sunday evening in Stockton.
  It happened at a homeless camp in a slough near El Dorado Street and Hazel Avenue.

  Police broke up concert-goers after a fight broke out in the venue while Vallejo’s SOB X RBE was on stage.

  EL DORADO HILLS (CBS13) — Crews have reopened a busy El Dorado Hills road.
  El Dorado Hills Boulevard was closed in the northbound direction Friday after a water main break.

  Crews had managed to open one of the southbound lanes and originally believed the northbound lanes would be closed for several days.
