  WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Authorities have made an arrest in the hit-and-run that left a driver dead on Highway 50.

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – California’s plan to keep Daylight Saving Time year-round passed its first two Assembly Committee hearings and is on its way to becoming law. However, it can only go into effect if federal law changes.

• California May Limit Full-Contact Practices For Youth Football

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – California may ban youth football teams from holding more than two full-contact practices a week during the season, and no full-contact practices during the offseason, in an effort to cut down on the amount of concussions and head injuries.
