    MODESTO (CBS13) — Police in Modesto are investigating a shooting that happened this morning on Wilmington Way.
    They say a man shot another man several times as part of a domestic dispute.

  • CHP Officer Recovering After Knife Attack

    MYERS (CBS13) — A California Highway Patrol officer is recovering after getting stabbed during a traffic stop last night.
    It happened on I-5 near Myers.
    The officer stopped a vehicle that was going over 100 miles per hour.
    During the stop, investigators say 25-year-old Haile Neil of Martinez pulled out a concealed knife and stabbed the officer in the back.
    A passing motorist stopped and helped the officer subdue Neil.

    CITRUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) — Thieves broke into the Citrus Heights Little League snack bar, stealing thousands in equipment.
    Thieves hit the Little League snack bar.
    Organizers say someone pried open a door and got inside the snack bar.
    The person (or persons) stole $100 in cash, $3000 in food and equipment, and vandalizing the cash register and safe.
