  LOOMIS (CBS13) – The Placer County K9 hurt during a shooting spree in Placer County is going home from the vet hospital.
  Eros was injured during the Tuesday night incident that also left a 93-year-old Penryn woman and the suspect dead. The K9 was rushed into surgery at local vet hospital after the shooting.
  Placer County authorities say Eros had suffered a wound to his hip area.

  SACRAMENTO (AP) – The family of a California man killed by a sheriff’s deputy in 2016 is set to receive a $7 million settlement from Sacramento County.

  LOS ALAMOS (CBS13) – An Amtrak bus full of people traveling from Davis crashed in Santa Barbara County Friday morning.

• Wanted Parolee Shot By Officers In Stockton After Allegedly Pulling Gun

  STOCKTON (CBS13) – Authorities have identified the suspect shot by officers in Stockton on Thursday evening.
  The incident happened along the 4500 block of Mist Trail Drive.
  Police said a wanted parolee pulled a gun on officers, prompting a Stockton PD and California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation officer to fire their weapons. The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
