• Police Detain Student After Report Of Armed Student At Beyer High In Modesto

  MODESTO (CBS13) – A student has been detained by police after reports of a person with a gun on the campus of a Modesto school.
  The incident happened early Thursday morning at Beyer High School.
  Modesto police say the student was safely detained. No shooting occurred, police say.
  It’s unclear, at this point, if a weapon was recovered.
  The school district is expected to release a statement about the incident shortly.

  ROSEVILLE (CBS13) – The Placer County Sheriff’s Office says 48-year-old Florence, Montana resident Stanley Stepanski III was the suspect in the shooting spree earlier this week.

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Sac State police are looking for the three people who are suspected of damaging the Hornet Stadium track and football field.
  The incident happened on Dec. 29 around 7:30 p.m.

• Police Use Narcan To Revive Overdose Victim

  FAIRFIELD (CBS13) — Fast-acting police in Fairfield saved a life this week using Narcan and CPR.
  Officers responded to an overdose call on Travis Boulevard Monday night. They say they found a 50-year-old man unconscious and not breathing, who they believed had overdosed on heroin.
  They administered two doses of Narcan, a drug that reverses the effects of opioids, and began CPR until paramedics arrived. EMTs transported the man to the hospital, where he was revived.

  STOCKTON (CBS13) – A 39-year-old Stockton man has been arrested in connection to the death of his 4-year-old daughter, police say.
  Stockton police say the child, Serenity Moore, was found with severe injuries at a home along the 8600 block of Rice Court back on Nov. 25, 2018. Moore was taken the UC Davis Medical Center, but she later died.

• Suspected DUI Driver Arrested After Head-On Crash In Amador County

  AMADOR COUNTY (CBS13) — The Amador County Sheriff’s Office is reminding drivers to use extra caution on the wet roads and to never drive drunk.
