  ROSEVILLE (CBS13) – Authorities say a Nevada man wanted in connection to a string of recent burglaries was arrested in Roseville.
  The Placer County Sheriff’s Office says Sparks, Nevada police alerted that a wanted man could possibly be in their area.

  YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK (CBS13) – Autopsy reports show a Bay Area couple was intoxicated when they died after falling from a popular Yosemite overlook.
  The couple – 29-year-old Vishnu Viswanath and 30-year-old Meekakshi Moorthy – reportedly died of multiple injuries to the head, neck, chest and abdomen after falling down Taft Point late October.

  NAPA (CBS13) – Two Northern California dog trainers are facing multiple felony animal cruelty charges following the death of a beloved German Shepherd.

• Body Found In McKinley Park Pond

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Crews are working to remove a body that was found in the McKinley Park pond Monday morning.
  Firefighters responded to the scene around 8 a.m. Sacramento police say a body was found in the pond and they are now investigating.

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Sacramento County Sheriff Scott Jones said he is on the road to recovery after having emergency gallbladder surgery.
  In a Facebook post on Sunday, Sheriff Jones revealed he had to go to the emergency room last Monday after experiencing excruciating pain. Jones said doctors found his gallbladder was “rotten, necrotic and gangrenous” and removed it.Sheriff Jones underwent three surgeries, he says, and spent the week in the hospital.

  The men grabbed 30 packs of cigarettes. One of the men displayed a firearm and told employees to back off.
