    DENAIR (CBS13) — A suspect is dead after pulling out a gun at a park and leading police on a chase through Stanislaus County.
    The pursuit ended in a rural area near the town of Hughson and Denair, and police confirmed that it was a Ceres police officer that fired the shots that killed the suspect.

    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — One Sacramento firefighter was transported to the hospital Saturday due to heat exhaustion while fighting a two-acre fire off of Highway 160.
