  DENAIR (CBS13) — A suspect is dead after pulling out a gun at a park and leading police on a chase through Stanislaus County.
  The pursuit ended in a rural area near the town of Hughson and Denair, and police confirmed that it was a Ceres police officer that fired the shots that killed the suspect.

  LODI (CBS13) — The family of Lodi man Salomon Rodriguez is mourning his passing tonight after he was struck by a school bus when riding his bike to work.Rodriguez, 30, was hit by the bus as it was making a turn at Kettleman Lane and School Street Friday afternoon.

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — One Sacramento firefighter was transported to the hospital Saturday due to heat exhaustion while fighting a two-acre fire off of Highway 160.
  According to Sacramento City Fire, the vegetation fire broke out at 1:26 p.m. Saturday at Lower American Parkway by Highway 160 and Northgate Boulevard.
