    Downtown Sacramento Boiling Crab Location Opens
    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The Boiling Crab is expanding its Sacramento presence.
    Monday, the seafood restaurant chain is holding a grand opening for its new downtown Sacramento location. Guests who manage to snag a spot will get a special cotton tote emblazoned with the same graphic as the restaurant’s plastic bibs.
    The new K Street location will complement (and hopefully shorten the lines) the Boiling Crab’s older south Sacramento location along 65th Street.

    LODI (CBS13) – Police have arrested a man suspected of stealing mail in Lodi.
    The Lodi Police Department says officers responded to Cheney Court early Monday morning after getting a report of someone tampering with mailboxes. At the scene, officers stopped a man who was allegedly in possession of checks and bank statements that didn’t belong to him.
    That man, identified as 21-year-old Cheo Tessaro, was arrested.

    ELK GROVE (CBS13) – The latest on a crash that killed a person in Elk Grove Sunday night:
    11:30 a.m.
    Police have arrested two people in connection to late Sunday night’s fatal crash.
    According to the Elk Grove Police Department, 23-year-old Ernesto Bizran-Guzman was driving the car. He fled the scene and was later arrested. Another man, 19-year-old Jose Guzman, was also arrested. Police say he was a passenger in the car.

    STOCKTON (CBS13) – Two Los Angeles police officers on a run to Sacramento aim to finish their journey on Monday.
    Joe Cirrito and Kristina Tudor set out last week to run from LA to Sacramento in their full duty uniform in honor of those killed in the line of duty. The two officers have been trading off running every 20 miles and have managed 35 to 50 miles per day of jogging.

    ELK GROVE (CBS13) – Police are still looking for a driver involved in a deadly crash near Highway 99.
    It happened just after 6:30 p.m. Sunday on West Stockton Boulevard.

    OAKLAND (CBS13) — Like so many, underground artist and Oakland baswd writer, Leorna Lutz, is mourning with her city.
    “I decided to come out and look at the scene for a little bit of closure,” she said.
    Lutz knew some of the artists who were living in the Ghost Ship, the Oakland warehouse turned into an artist studio and possibly an illegal home for a dozen or more artists.
