    Olivehurst Girl, 16, Killed In Crash In Linda Area
    LINDA (CBS13) – A 16-year-old girl has died after a crash in Yuba County Thursday morning.
    The scene was near Feather River Boulevard, south of Grand Avenue in the Linda area.
    California Highway Patrol says the girl was driving her 1999 Ford Escort when she lost control, causing the car to cross over into the path of a 2007 Chevy Tahoe being driven by 65-year-old Sapeti P. Aiono. The Tahoe then broadsided the passenger side of the girl’s car.

    The US Geological Survey says the earthquake happened at 6:49 a.m. about 110 miles southwest of Eureka. According to the USGS map, the quake occurred on one of the main fault lines of the Pacific plate.
