• Watermelons Spill Out Of Burning Semi

    MORRISON, Colo. (CBS4)– Watermelons spilled all over Highway 285 on Tuesday afternoon after a semi hauling the melons caught fire.
    The semi had to pull over in the northbound lanes of Highway 285 just west of C-470 in the Morrison area.

    The watermelons spilled out of the burning truck. The melons are a total loss but the driver was not hurt.

  • Colorado Rockies 25th Anniversary Season Includes Games Against Astros, Angels

    DENVER (CBS4)– The 25th Anniversary Season for the Colorado Rockies includes games against four teams for interleague play with the home opener set for April 6.
    The preliminary schedule includes them playing four American League West teams in 2018. Colorado will host the Los Angeles Angels (May 8-9), Seattle Mariners (July 13-15), Houston Astros (July 24-25) and Oakland Athletics (July 27-29) at Coors Field.

    CRIPPLE CREEK, Colo. (CBS4)– Three people were hurt when a fire destroyed the top floor of the Cripple Creek Motel.
    The fire was reported about 3 a.m. Tuesday.

    BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) – Boulder police say it could take several weeks to investigate the death of Eric Chase Bolling, who was a student at the University of Colorado and the son of former Fox News host Eric Bolling.
