  HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (CBS4) – A former teacher at ThunderRidge High School found guilty of three counts of sexual exploitation of a child has been sentenced to 21 years in prison.
  According to the district attorney’s office, Jeffrey Falk, 52, of Highlands Ranch will also serve 15 years on intensive supervised probation as a sex offender upon his release.

  LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (AP) — The body of a 2-year-old Nebraska boy who was snatched off a Walt Disney World beach by an alligator and dragged underwater was recovered Wednesday, ending a ghastly search at one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations.

  DENVER (CBS4) – Kellogg’s is recalling cookies and brownies because of undisclosed peanuts.
  Affected products include treats from its Keebler, Famous Amos, Special K, Mother’s and Murray lines.

  GUNNISON, Colo. (AP) – Investigators are trying to determine how a 24-year-old backpacker apparently fell to his death while hiking in Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park.
  The body of Ryan Wood Moss of Colorado Springs, who was reported overdue Saturday, was recovered Tuesday from the base of a cliff. It’s the first death in the canyon since 2013.

  EVERGREEN, Colo. (CBS4) – A fawn was rescued after hopping into the bathtub of a home in Evergreen.
  Deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the homeowners’ call when the baby deer got inside late Tuesday night.

  ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Authorities are searching for a child who was dragged into the water by an alligator near Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Orlando.
  Multiple news outlets report that Orange County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Rose Silva says the 2-year-old child was dragged into the Seven Seas Lagoon about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

  DENVER (CBS4) – The Republican National Committee is working hard to train volunteers. They want to be ready to hit the ground running and get people registered to vote.

• Chick-Fil-A Opens Doors On Sunday To Donate Food To Orlando Blood Donors

  NEW YORK (AP) — Chick-fil-A employees in Orlando, Florida were serving food this past Sunday after the massacre at a gay night club, even though the chain is normally closed on Sundays in a nod to the religious beliefs of its founder.
  A few employees from at least one Orlando location made food for people waiting in line to donate blood after the massacre that left 49 dead and dozens more injured, according to the Facebook page for a local Chick-fil-A.

• Giant Air Bag Designed To Urge Drivers To Buckle Up

  DENVER (CBS4)– A giant air bag is on the side of a hotel in downtown Denver. The Colorado Department of Transportation put it there to remind people that an air bag won’t save you from an unbuckled passenger.
  They say the person who is not buckled up poses a serious danger to everyone in that car.
