    Denver police shoot man who used BB gun to threaten officers, bystanders
    Denver police shot and wounded a 56-year-old man who was wielding a sawed-off BB gun late Sunday night after he verbally threatened police before aiming the gun at bystanders in downtown Denver.
    The man  was shot in the arm and his injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, Cmdr. Ron Saunier of the Denver Police Department said during a news conference Monday morning at police headquarters.
