    FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4)– A self-proclaimed psychic has been sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to felony theft.
    Adam Marks was sentenced on Thursday for felony theft of $500 to $15,000. Marks was arrested in Baltimore County, Md. in March.

    Calvin Johnson was convicted of one count of first-degree murder by a jury.The body of Teodoro Leon, 50, was found in an alley near 10th Avenue and Acoma Street in the morning hours of Jan. 1.     GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Golden are hosting a community safety meeting Thursday evening following a violent home invasion in May.
    It was a terrifying night for the Swift family at home on the evening of May 16 when three men broke into their house and attacked. Jesse and Jessica Swift tried to fight off the suspects and Jesse was stabbed.

    PLATTEVILLE, Colo. (AP) – A police officer is suspected of causing a fatal crash in an apparent case of road rage in northern Colorado.
    Forty-eight-year-old Blair Jackson, an off-duty Ault police officer, was arrested Wednesday after the crash with a pickup between Platteville and Gilcrest. The Weld County Sheriff’s Office says the Ford Ranger rolled and the driver later died at the scene.

    The attack happened Tuesday at the Foothills Community Dog Park. Police say a pit bull-mix bit a pit boxer-mix and would not let go. The person with the boxer-mix stabbed the other dog with a pocket knife.

    Gov. John Hickenlooper on Wednesday signed a law that will help children with a rare protein allergy. The specialized formula is one of the only things that make it not painful for the children to eat, but it costs up to $5,000 a year.
