• Foster Homes Needed For Dogs Displaced By Texas Floods

  DENVER (CBS4) – More than a dozen dogs who escaped dangerous floodwaters in Texas have the new challenge of finding a forever home in Colorado.
  HomeComings Dog Rescue, a Denver nonprofit, is asking for pet lovers around the Denver metro area to extend their hearts and homes to dogs in need.

• Witness Holds Stabbing Suspect At Gunpoint, Then Deputies Use Taser

  BELLVUE, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Larimer County tased a 22-year-old stabbing suspect on Friday night after he had been held at gunpoint by a witness.
  Deputies responded to Rist Canyon Road and County Road 23 in Bellvue at approximately 9 p.m.
  A woman was stabbed in the neck area and on her hands. Her injuries were described as being non-life threatening.

  DENVER (CBS4) – Police in Denver are searching for several suspects following a triple homicide Friday night in the Northeast Park Hill neighborhood.
  When police arrived at a home Friday night after an emergency call came in about a shooting they found two people dead. Another victim was rushed to the hospital but they died soon afterwards.

• 10-Year-Old Boy Dies From Gunshot Wound In Aurora

  AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – A 10-year-old boy died from a gunshot wound in Aurora Friday night.
  Police responded to the Nordic Arms Apartments at the intersection of Galena Street and East Colfax Avenue at 9:45 p.m.

  DENVER (CBS4) – Several people are dead in what’s believed to be a shooting incident in Denver’s Northeast Park Hill neighborhood.

  DENVER (AP) — A man convicted of shooting a woman to death during a confrontation at a Denver motel has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.
  The Denver District Attorney’s Office says 30-year-old Brandon Foote was sentenced Friday for the June 25 death of 29-year-old Camille Harrell. He was convicted in first-degree murder after deliberation, first-degree felony murder and first-degree burglary.
