    Hunter Accused Of Shooting, Killing Teen On Western Slope Offered Plea Deal
    GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (CBS4) – A plea deal has been offered to a Minnesota hunter accused of accidentally shooting and killing a 14-year-old boy on Colorado’s Western Slope back in September.
    If Guy Pohto, 59, pleads guilty to manslaughter he could face two to six years in prison.
    Justin Burns, 14, was shot in the chest in September while bow hunting with his father at the Big Creek Reservoir southwest of Grand Junction.

    Jason Wood has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and robbery.
    The charges allege that on Dec. 8, Wood opened fire on Denver Police Officer Tony Lopez, Jr. during a traffic stop near Federal Boulevard and Clyde Place and then carjacked a vehicle in an attempt to get away.

    DENVER (CBS4)– A man has been charged in connection with a Denver bank robbery after the cases were initially dismissed.Steven C. Talley has been charged with one count of aggravated robbery.Talley, 44, was originally charged in two bank robbery cases in 2014 but the cases were dismissed after he provided an alibi for one of them. The Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force continued the investigation into the second robbery and their work resulted in Talley’s arrest last week.

    DENVER (CBS4) – It’s a rare occurrence — snow plows on the side streets. But Denver Public Works deployed their crews to clear residential roads because the snow was so deep.
    Nearly 100 plows will hit the side streets at 9 p.m. Tuesday to make those roads more drive able.
    The residential plow program was deployed only once last winter.
