    DENVER (CBS4) – People across the state are eating out for a cause. Chili’s Grill & Bar restaurants will donate 15 percent of Monday’s net sales proceeds to the family of Colorado State Trooper Jaimie Jursevics, who was killed Nov. 15 by a suspected drunk driver.
    Police arrested Retired Army Col. Eric Henderson on charges of vehicular homicide, hit-and-run, and driving under the influence.

    WASHINGTON (AP) – Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt has said that he plans to continue to press the U.S. Supreme Court for permission to sue Colorado over its marijuana laws, despite objection from President Obama’s administration.
    Oklahoma and Nebraska asked for the court’s permission a year ago to sue Colorado over aspects of its marijuana legalization plan. A spokesman for Pruitt said that written arguments will be filed next month.

    DENVER (AP) – Right-handed reliever Adam Ottavino and the Colorado Rockies have agreed to a $10.4 million, three-year contract.
    Ottavino gets $1.3 million next year, $2.1 million in 2017 and $7 million in 2018 under the agreement announced Monday, which avoids salary arbitration. He would have been eligible for free agency after the 2017 season.
