  DENVER (CBS4)– Bus drivers working for school districts are required to undergo testing for alcohol and drugs. But this week, one school bus driver crashed the bus she was driving and admitted to taking prescription drugs.
  Several students were on board the bus that Elizabeth Burris was driving when she crashed on Monday.
  Police said Burris lost control on Highway 7 about eight miles outside of Lyons on Monday night. The bus hit a mountainside and rolled over.

  BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Boulder have arrested a suspect wanted in a deadly stabbing that happened early Saturday morning.
  Detectives believe Ian Scheuermann stabbed a man several times near the intersection of Broadway and Walnut streets about 2 a.m.
  Scheuermann, 22, is an undergraduate student at the University of Colorado. He was arrested after the stabbing. Investigators believe the stabbing happened after an argument escalated into violence.

David Gray made the plea in Larimer County Court on Friday.Gray is accused of shooting and killing his neighbor Gerald Donovan in the 5600 block of Thomas Court, Loveland, in June.Police say Gray and Donovan had been involved in a land dispute for a long time.

  IDAHO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)– The Interstate 70 Mountain Express Lane opens on Saturday to drivers heading east from Empire to Idaho Springs. Tolls will be waived during the testing phase of the lane but drivers are encouraged to get an Express Toll pass.
  The I-70 Express Lane operates for 13 miles between the twin Veterans Memorial Tunnels near Idaho Springs and the Empire exit. The lane allows eastbound traffic to use a newly built “shoulder lane” during peak travel periods.
