Millions of homes in Britain are at risk of catching fire due to faulty tumble dryers made by some of the industry's leading brands. Hotpoint, Creda and Indesit machines have been named by the Fire Brigade Union (FBU) as causing concern, with almost a fire a day every year caused by the machines.
