An unfamiliar result and an unfamiliar performance. Nottmtails published Nottingham Forest will not dwell on 'blip', says Matt Mills
Nottingham Forest must prove defeat was no more than a blip following the end of their unbeaten run, says skipper Matt Mills. The defender insists Dougie Freedman's side must still set their sights on the top six, despite seeing their run of 13 games without defeat brought to an end by a slick Huddersfield side at the City Ground. The Reds now trail sixth-placed Derby by nine points, following an out of character, lacklustre performance on home turf. Mills still believes Forest are making... -

Alex Hales says he was left with 'mixed emotions' after England fell to a 3-2 one-day international series defeat in South Africa. MattDavies published New boy MacKenzie admits first goal rocked Notts County at York
Sport is littered with buzz phrases. Catches win matches. Goals change games. Fans have heard them all before, but it makes them no less true. For Gary MacKenzie, the latter was certainly the case on Saturday as Notts County lost a game they were dominating, 2-1 against York City. The central defender admits his debut, after joining on loan from Doncaster, was a frustrating one as Notts were rattled briefly after conceding the first goal. "It's very frustrating to lose. Rob Fox, from Wollaton. The Nottingham Forest fan, who has been going to games since the age of five, has his say on the 2-0 home loss to Huddersfield Town: The longest unbeaten run in the league has ended, and sadly it came with something of a whimper in a game which is unlikely to feature on anyone but Huddersfield's Phillip Billing's highlights reel after he smashed in the decisive second goal. Nottingham Forest were not at the races throughout the match, with misplaced passes and a lack... -

Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner felt they beat Nottingham Forest at their own game as they ended the Reds' unbeaten record at the City Ground. I'm sure Matt Mills will be sick as a pig after his own goal against Huddersfield Town. He couldn't really do anything about it, but I'm sure the Nottingham Forest defender will give himself a rollicking and swear at himself. No doubt there will be a few choice swear words. But that just shows he cares. He's got the right attitude and I like to see that in players. He's too experienced to let it bother him, though.
