• Capitol Corridor Train Hit And Killed Pedestrian In Davis

  DAVIS (CBS13) — A person was struck by a train while “trespassing” on the tracks in Davis Wednesday afternoon, according to Amtrak.
  Amtrak said the person came into contact with the Capitol Corridor train just before 2 p.m. The train was coming from Oakland. There were no injuries to the passengers or crew on board.
  It is unknown at this time what condition the pedestrian is in.
  The incident has delayed the 530 train approximately 2 hours and delayed the Amtrak Capitol Corridor

• Woman Suspected Of Lighting Boyfriend’s Modesto House, Car On Fire

  MODESTO (CBS13) – Authorities say a woman is under arrest after she allegedly set her boyfriend’s Modesto home and car on fire.
  The incident happened on March 10. According to the Stanislaus Regional Fire Investigation Unit, firefighters responded to a fire at a home along Wild Poppy Court in northwest Modesto and found flames coming from the second story.

  STOCKTON (CBS13) – A large fire damaged an apartment complex undergoing a remodel in Stockton late Tuesday night.
  The incident happened at the Sierra Vista Apartments along 11th Street. Firefighters say they responded around 11 p.m. and found that a very large fire had broken out at the construction site.

  MODESTO (CBS13) – Detectives have made an arrest in the case of thousands of dollars worth of rare merchandise stolen from a Modesto comic book store.

• 2 Citrus Heights Liquor Stores Hit By Burglars Overnight

  CIRTUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) – Two liquor stores in Citrus Heights were burglarized early Wednesday morning.
  Citrus Heights police say the first store hit was Joe’s Liquor on Greenback Lane. Windows were smashed and a few items were taken from the store.
  About an hour later, another store further down Greenback, near Auburn Boulevard, was hit.
