  STOCKTON (CBS13) — Five people have been shot and killed in Stockton since Friday.
  The most recent happened overnight on Volney Street.
  Police say someone shot a woman in her late 30s. She died at the hospital from her injuries.
  Earlier on Saturday night, police say someone shot two people in a restaurant drive-thru, killing one man and leaving a woman in critical condition.

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — There’s a voluntary recall of California-grown avocados underway because of listeria fears.
  The avocados in question are from Henry Avocado Corporation.

  The company says it’s issuing the recall because of positive listeria tests at its California packaging facility.

  ROCKLIN (CBS13) — Following the arrest last week of 18-year-old Jacob Clark, police say officers will proactively be at both Rocklin and Whitney High Schools tomorrow.
  The Rocklin Police Department says it is aware of concerns related to Clark, who police arrested for allegedly bringing a firearm onto campus at Rocklin High, and it is monitoring social media regarding the arrest.

• Hield Sets Franchise Season Record For 3s, Kings Beat Suns

  SACRAMENTO (AP) — Buddy Hield wasn’t even supposed to be in Sacramento’s lineup at the beginning of the season. Now he’s one of the top 3-point shooters in the NBA, with a spot in the Kings’ record book, as well.
  Hield had 25 points and set the franchise season record for 3-pointers, and Sacramento beat the Phoenix Suns 112-103 on Saturday night.

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Lottery officials say the Powerball jackpot has ballooned to $750 million after no ticket matched all six numbers in the most recent drawing.

• Report: Davis Officer Natalie Corona Shooter Had Alcohol And Drugs In His System

  DAVIS (CBS13) — Kevin Limbaugh, the man who shot and killed Officer Natalie Corona in Davis back in January, was under the influence of alcohol and marijuana on the night of the shooting, according to the Davis Enterprise.
  The paper is reporting Limbaugh’s Yolo County coroner’s report, saying he had also been taking prescription medication for insomnia.
  Limbaugh’s blood-alcohol level was .16, twice the legal limit.

• K-9 Nabs Felony Suspect In Placer County

  SHERIDAN (CBS13) — K-9 Drago took down a wanted mean in Sheridan, according to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office.
  Deputies say they had been looking for 32-year-old Wesley Bower for more than a week on a felony car theft warrant when they saw him walking.
  When they approached him, they say he took off running through a field, jumping numerous barbwire fences.
  That’s when K-9 Drago was deployed, apprehending Bower by biting him in the forearm.

  TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE (CBS13) — Staff Seargent Emily Johnson is being called a hero for helping three crash victims on I-80 earlier this year.
  Travis Air Force Base says Johnson was on her way to class one evening when she saw a broken down car on the interstate. Just after she stopped to help, another car slammed into the stopped one.

• More Than 1000 Syringes Found In Lexus SUV

  SHINGLE SPRINGS (CBS13) — Deputies in El Dorado County found more than they expected when they responded to a call of two people passed out in a vehicle.What they found was more than 1,000 syringes, more than half of which had been used. Many of the needles were uncapped.Along with the needles, deputies found meth and heroin in the SUV.They say it took several hours to clean out the vehicle due to the health hazards.
