    The incident happened Thursday morning at Taft Elementary School, according to the Stockton Unified School District.
    A class of 12 students and their teacher reportedly started complaining of lightheadedness, prompting the school to call for first responders. That classroom, along with other nearby classrooms, were evacuated.

    COPPEROPOLIS (CBS13) – A man and woman suspected of squatting in a Calaveras County home have been arrested, authorities say.
    The arrests happened on Monday. According to the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office, deputies started investigating a home along the 4000 block of Edgewater Court in Copperopolis after getting a report about possible squatters.

    SOLANO COUNTY (CBS13) — A woman was found guilty of felony child abuse after she threw a five-month-old baby onto a couch in 2016, the Solano County District Attorney said.

  • Missing Roseville Woman Found Dead In Nevada County

    NEVADA COUNTY (CBS13) — Nevada County Sheriff’s deputies found a missing Roseville woman dead Wednesday near her abandoned car.
    Roseville police said the station received a tip from someone who spotted a white Jeep Grand Cherokee in a remote area of Nevada County.
    Police contacted the Nevada County Sheriff’s office and deputies checked the area for the vehicle. Deputies located the missing Jeep and confirmed it belonged to Mrs. Briana Ferguson, who was missing out of Roseville.
