• Multiple People Killed In Pedestrian Bridge Collapse At University In Miami

    (CNN) — Multiple people have died as a result of a pedestrian bridge collapse at Florida International University in Miami, according to a spokesman with the Florida Highway Patrol.
    Multiple agencies have responded to the scene.
    Lt. Alejandro Camacho, the Florida Highway Patrol spokesman, said “five to six vehicles” were crushed underneath the bridge. A spokeswoman with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue told CNN there were multiple injuries.

  • 2 Men Injured, Woman Arrested After Honey Oil Lab Explosion In Stockton

    STOCKTON (CBS13) – A 23-year-old woman is under arrest after a suspected honey oil lab exploded in Stockton on Wednesday.
    Stockton police say officers responded to the 4300 block of Pebble Beach Drive a little before 4:30 p.m. to investigate a reported explosion. Two men were found at the scene with major burns.

  • Police: Sonora High Student Gets Angry During Class, Punches School Employee

    SONORA (CBS13) – A Sonora High School student has been arrested after allegedly striking a school employee.
    Police say 18-year-old Jason Haddad became angry during class early Wednesday afternoon and charged the employee. Haddad allegedly punched the employee and chased them out of the classroom.
    Exactly what allegedly caused Haddad to attack has not been detailed. Police have not specified if the employee is a teacher.

    Veterinarians from UC Davis will perform a craniotomy on the puppy now named Thomas to remove loose bone fragments that could result in neurological damage.
