  NEW YORK (CBS13) – Jeremy Meeks, the Stockton resident whose mugshot earned him a legion of adoring fans and a modeling contract, made his runway debut during New York Fashion Week.
  Monday, Meeks walked the runway at the Philipp Plein show at the New York Public Library. Big name designers and celebrities like Madonna, Kylie Jenner and Paris Hilton were in attendance.

• Officials Rush To Drain Lake Oroville Before New Storms

  OROVILLE (CBS13/AP) – Officials scrambled Wednesday to drain more water from a lake behind battered Oroville Dam before new storms hit Northern California and test the quick repairs made after water cascaded down an unpaved spillway and prompted a massive evacuation.
  Three storms were expected, starting Wednesday evening and stretching into next week.

  MANTECA (CBS13) – Officers shot a man who was walking across Highway 99 near Manteca and acting erratically late Wednesday morning.
  The scene was on the northbound side of Highway 99 near Lathrop Road. Manteca Police say they got a report that a man was walking south on the northbound lanes of the freeway. He was reportedly armed with a knife and was possibly suicidal.

  NEWMAN (CBS13) – Authorities are investigating after an officer-involved shooting in Newman Wednesday morning.
  It is unclear exactly where in the city of Newman the shooting took place, but the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department is asking the media to stage at Barrington Park.
  The suspect was taken to the ER. The officer was not hurt in the shooting, the sheriff’s department says.

  OROVILLE (CBS13) – Police in Oroville have arrested a man who allegedly broke into a Butte County business and robbed it.
  Officers say 35-year-old Jeffery Casaulong is responsible for burglarizing the Work Training Center off of Lincoln Boulevard in Oroville early Wednesday morning.

  BUTTE COUNTY (CBS13) – Thousands of residents returning home after being evacuated from eroding the Oroville Dam spillway, but not getting comfortable.
  “Excited to be home,” said Mireya Virgen after pulling up to her house that was still standing.
