    Central Valley In Flood Danger Stage
    SACRAMENTO (CBS13)- National Weather Service announced Sunday Afternoon that Central Valley has entered flood danger stage and are requesting residents to prepare for possible evacuations.
    Heavy rain starts tonight and goes until Tuesday puts the area in danger due to the saturation of the soil.  Areas closer to streams and rivers have a higher chance of getting flooded.

    TUOLUMNE COUNTY (CBS13) — At 830 feet, the Don Pedro Reservoir will flood. It’s already at 826 feet and expected to spill over as soon as Monday. District officials anticipate there will be so much water, that they will have open the spillway for the first time in 20 years – and only the second time they have done so since the dam opened in the early 1970s.
    But that means low lying areas, cities like Modesto, may be at risk of flooding.

    Placer County Deputies Locate Missing Snowboarder
    TAHOE CITY, CALIF,  (CBS13) — Roughly an hour after reporting 32-year-old Ian Creelman missing at Alpine Meadows Ski Resort, Placer County Deputies located the man three miles south of Blackwood Canyon.
    Tahoe Nordic Search and Rescue Team are currently hiking IanCreelman back out of the back country.
    Deputies described his conditions and “cold and hungry,” but no serious injuries were reported.

    STOCKTON (CBS13) — The Stockton Police Department reports that an 80-year-old man has died after coming to the aide of a woman who was being robbed on the 800 block of East March Lane Friday night.
    According to a press release from the department, a 30-year-old suspect was in the act of robbing an elderly woman around 8 p.m. when the man attempted to help her.
    The suspect assaulted the man, who subsequently went into cardiac arrest and died.
    The suspect fled the scene.
