  TRUCKEE (AP) — The National Weather Service has forecast heavy snow in the Lake Tahoe area with a high avalanche danger until Tuesday in an area of the Sierra Nevada from Yuba Pass to Ebbetts Pass.

  STANISLAUS COUNTY (CBS13) – Authorities say a head-on crash killed two people on a rural road between Oakdale and Waterford Monday morning.
  The scene is near Milnes and Albers roads. California Highway Patrol responded just before 7:30 a.m. and found two trucks had collided head on.

• Don Pedro Reservoir Flood Gates Set To Open For First Time In 20 Years

  TUOLUMNE COUNTY (CBS13) – For the first time in 20 years, the Don Pedro Reservoir in Tuolumne County is in danger of flooding.
  At 830 feet, the reservoir will flood. Right now, it’s at 826 feet. With heavy rains expected over the next few days, the spillway gates will likely be opened – which hasn’t happened since 1997.

  NEW ORLEANS (CBS13) — All-Star Sacramento Kings Center DeMarcus Cousins has been traded to the New Orleans Pelicans, CBS Sports confirms.
  In exchange for the three-time All-star, the Kings will receive a future first-round draft pick, a future second-round draft pick, rookie guard Buddy Hield, guard Langston Galloway and former Kings rookie of the Year Tyreke Evans.

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — The Sacramento Police Department has confirmed that it is currently in ana armed standoff with a man barricaded in a home near 19th and F Streets.
  The incident began as a 5150 call around 4:45 p.m.

• Man Arrested Following Armed Standoff In Downtown Sacramento

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Police have taken a man at the center of a standoff in Downtown Sacramento into custody.
  The incident began as a 5150 call around 4:45 p.m. When police arrived at the home they found a man, believed to be armed, barricaded inside a home 18th and F Streets, according to a statement from the Sacramento Police Department.
  The suspect later surrendered to police and was taken into custody. He will be arrested in connection with a warrant out of Nevada County.
